Wind My Roof


Centralized Activities Region 

Claire Baillet (École des Ponts ParisTech), Antoine Brichot (École des Ponts ParisTech), Baptiste Lafoux (École des Ponts ParisTech), Yanis Maacha (École des Ponts ParisTech).

The Wind My Roof team conceived an innovative solutions for harvesting facade wind. The compact modules are designed to attenuate the noise of the blades and fit harmoniously into the urban landscape.
The jury liked the breath of fresh air brought by these engineering students, who had the clever idea of producing energy from a source of wind not exploited until now.

Grand-Ouest Region

 

Team 1: Citizen

Antoine André, Thomas Bazille, Nathan Degrés et Renaud Dutarque (ENSAM).

 

As a way of putting citizens at the heart of the decision-making process, the Citizen team has imagined a crowdfunding application dedicated to financing urban projects.

Team 2: Les pocrates

Alexis Dupuis, Paul Asquin (Centrale Nantes).


 

Rhône-Alpes Region

 

Team 1: Togaether

Guilhem de Montaignac, Thomas Motrieux, Yannick Poulain, Raphaël Leclercq (Insa Lyon).

 

They decided to create a smartphone application - Togaether - to allow passengers to meet up during their commute.

Île-de-France Region 

 

Team 1: An Ecological Building

Adams Nafony Traore (CESI), Albane Devalet (Cesi), Jimmy Charrier (Hitema).

 

A team of recent graduates decided to design a low-carbon, energy selfsufficient building. Most of the materials used are either bio-sourced or recycled.

Team 1: Grattergood

The two students imagined several systems for recycling the vibratory energy produced by trains.

Team: Stable 4.0

Paul Blanchier (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), Romain Laurent (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), Bastien Triclot (ENSAM).

 

Stable 4.0 developed an algorithm that uses the person’s point of origin and destination, then analyses data and flows to calculate the best car park for guaranteeing the most convenient modal shift.

Team: Around

Jordan Lam Yu Cheng (Singapore University), Joel Ang Jian Hui (Singapore University), Chin Zhi Xian (Singapore University), Nicole Gan Jia Hui (Singapore University).

 

The Around team designed a participative application that allows street artists to create their works not on the physical walls of the city, but to project them virtually, using the principle of augmented reality.
