The Finance of the Future

The global leader in investment networks and social trading platforms is launching its first challenge – and it’s open to all.

Strategy Project

1st stage: Ideation

Until 26 November

Sign up for the challenge, form a team of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 people and submit your Strategy project!

For the first stage, all your team needs to do is produce a five-slide PowerPoint presentation in English describing your project, using the template provided in your participation area. Your team must submit your presentation before 23.59 on 26 November 2019. A minimum level of participation in the investment game is required.

Submit your project in one of the two following categories:

1 - eToro platform:

Put forward ideas that could be applied to eToro in terms of design - UX/UI:

E.g. How can the interface be improved to bring investment to even more people? E.g. new features, new indicators, FAQs, testimonials, tutorials, etc

E.g. How can obstacles in the eToro user experience be made into a strength?

2 - Blockchain & finance:

How will digital and new technology move the world of finance forwards? Imagine the impact of a new technology of your choice on the world of finance. How will these new technologies revolutionize the way we invest and manage our money

It’s over to you to create an innovative project that could have a positive impact for users (simplicity, efficiency, etc.) or for society (a social, community or sustainable impact, for example).

E.g. How could chatbots improve brokers’ customer relationships?

E.g. What potential new uses for blockchain could be created?

E.g. How could the stock exchange have a positive impact on society?

E.g. To what extent could the use of AI and/or new technologies encourage outstanding market performance?

E.g. How could social media make investing easier for individuals?

2nd stage: Development of strategy projects

From 2 December 2019 until 23.59 on 15 January 2020.

Congratulations if your team is selected for the second stage of the strategy part of the challenge!

For the second stage, you’re asked to submit two documents:

1 - A more detailed presentation of your project in 20 slides. There is no specific document template you need to follow.

2 - A two-minute video presenting your project.

Remember that eToro is an international company – so please produce your content in English so everyone can read it.
