Startups have eight weeks to come up with an idea to improve Melco’s overall service efficiency. Melco is looking for a unique and original idea that has the potential to be adopted and implemented in Melco's Properties.
You must submit your startup deck detailing your business proposal (tailored to Melco's needs) by Sunday 9 December 2018 (11:59 PM, GMT+8:00). Their presentation should cover the following:
- Problem statement
- Value proposition

- Potential impact on business (direct & indirect)
- Previous success stories
- Implementation plan & costs at scale
- Current and projected financials
- Staff & mentors profiles.
You are also welcome to submit appendixes (optional) featuring their prototype via Github or demo video of your tailored solution.
10 - 23 December 2018
There will be a screening period of all projects and teams, the jury will vote on the different proposals and choose the top 3 startups. The jury will consist of members from a variety of departments at Melco Properties. They will be looking out for uniqueness, value creation, roll-out potential, general traction, financials, team and advisors in your submission.
The finalists will be announced on Monday 24 December 2018.
24 December 2018 - 13 January 2019
Now, you will have the opportunity to fine-tune your solution and your pitch with the help of your mentor(s)! This step is crucial as it will enable you to localize your proposal to the exact constraints and needs of Melco!

Teams must submit their most up-to-date solution and pitch by Sunday 13 January 2019 (11:59 PM, GMT+8:00).

This is your time to shine! Demonstrate your innovative idea in front of a jury made up of Melco’s senior management and have the chance to win some amazing prizes. Prior to the pitch competition, your updated business plan will be assessed and will account for 50% of the final Grade.
You will have 5 minutes followed by 3 minutes Q&A to expose your strategy and convince us that your solution is the one we shall rollout for a Proof of Concept!
