Challenge timeline
A three-stage process
Stage 1 - Ideation stage
(3 December - 10 February)
- Click the ‘Participate’ button.
- In teams of 1 to 4 people, present your project in 5 slides (PDF format) alongside the 3D model (in .ifc, .3dm or .step format) that you want to print.
- Submit your application via the platform before 11:59pm on 10 February.
- 8 chosen teams announced: 18 February.
Stage 2 - Expansion stage
(18 February - 24 March)
- For the second stage, 8 teams will be invited to expand on their projects, supported by mentors from VINCI Construction and XtreeE.
- The expected deliverable is a 15-slide document and a revised version of your 3D model.
- Feel free to submit additional documents (videos, images, mockups, etc.) to help convince the Jury.
- 5 finalists announced: 1st April.
Stage 3 - Final stage
(12 avril)
- The 5 teams shortlisted for the final will be invited to pitch their project to a jury formed of members of VINCI Construction and XtreeE’s R&D divisions as well as an architect sponsor.
- The oral presentations must not be longer than 5 minutes and will be followed by a further 5 minutes of questions/answers.
- At the end of the day, the top 3 projects will receive prizes!
