ABB invites you to take part in its first challenge: 2 topics are offered!

Smarter Home Challenge

Create the home experience of the future: Define future uses for the home by linking connected devices with existing services.

RobotStudio Game

Create a robotic game with 1 or 2 robots in a collaborative mode with the software RobotStudio, ABB offers you the use of this software!

Agenda for the challenge and expected deliverables

1st step: Ideation - January 10th to March 11th
Register on to the platform and participate on your own or create a team of 2 or 3 people. Then you will have to choose between the Smarter Home and the RobotStudio game topics. You must submit your project before March 11th. 20 teams will be selected in each of the topics, they will be announce on March 15th. 
 
For the Smarter Home challenge you should describe your new usages ideas giving examples and explaining their relevance. 
For the robotic challenge you should illustrate the scenario you would like to develop with the StudioGame software in the 5 slides presentation, using images or videos. The robotic cell should be 2m x 2m with 1 or 2 robots, in a collaborative mode.
 
 
2nd step: Deepening - March 18th to April 19th
During this second step, you will have to go deeper with your concept in order to seduce the jury and reach the final that will gather the 5 best projects of each topics. The deadline is April 19th and the winners will be announced on April 29th. 

You are expected to submit a 20 slides presentation and you can add optional video, images or mock up. 
 
3rd step: Final - May 17th
This is where the 5 best teams of each topic will pitch their concept in front of a jury. You will have 10 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes of questions.
