Beyond the Panel: The BeSolar Immersive Awareness Challenge

How might we develop an immersive, scalable awareness & training environment to educate customers and train contractors on renewable energy in Qatar?

 

Empowering Qatar’s Solar Transition through Immersive Education and Standardized Training

KAHRAMAA is calling on innovators to develop an immersive BeSolar Awareness Lab (utilizing VR, XR, or AR) that transforms solar education into a high-fidelity interactive environment. This initiative seeks to bridge the gap in public understanding of net billing while standardizing high-quality installation practices among contractors.

  • Up to 100,000 USD from QRDI can be made available depending on the project proposal and to be agreed on a case-by-case basis
  • Access to KAHRAMAA’s BeSolar technical data and training materials
  • Pilot sites for testing (KAHRAMAA Awareness Park, KAHRAMAA Training Center).
  • Mentorship and technical support from the New & Renewable Energy Department
