How to take part
Sign up now and create a team of 2 to 3 students or young graduates (those who graduated in the last 3 years).
We recommend that you include a range of complementary profiles to help you produce the best ideas: innovation often comes from a mix of different skills and talents!
You can also join an incomplete team to share your skills and boost your chances. You're also able to discuss your project with your teammates via the site's video-conference and chat tools – so don't limit yourself geographically!
STEP 1: PRE-SELECTION
For the first step, we'd like you to submit a PowerPoint presentation of 2 to 3 slides in English to outline your idea and your concept, and, of course, to introduce your team.
Download the pre-selection document
It's very important that your first submission acts as a summary: it should present an appealing overall vision of your project. Feel free to use illustrations, diagrams, text, or any other type of relevant content. This document may be in English or in your own language.
Confirm your participation by submitting your document online before Sunday 2 April 2017 at 23.59 (Paris time, GMT+1).The jury of FM Logistic managers will choose the projects they consider to be most relevant.
STEP 2: SELECTION
If you're pre-selected, you'll then need to upload a presentation – a maximum of 15 slides, in English and in PowerPoint or PDF format – to the platform. Your presentation can take any form you like, although initiatives designed to illustrate your project will be particularly welcomed. We strongly encourage you to attach a demo video, a working or graphic model, sketches of your project, or anything else you think is relevant.
This document must be in English.
FM Logistic will make mentors available to pre-selected teams to support them with creating their projects. To contact an expert, teams will be able to go online to connect with them directly via the platform.
The selection document must be uploaded to your space before Thursday 4 May 2017 at 23.59 (Paris time, GMT+1).The jury of FM Logistic managers will choose the projects they think are the most relevant.
STEP 3: FINAL
The four teams of finalists of each country will be invited to present their project during the challenge final from 5 June 2017 at FM Logistic HQ of their country (either France, Poland, Spain or Russia).
This presentation must cover the major themes of your project, and may be in English or in your own language as FM Logistic managers from all over the world will be there to listen to you – and to vote!
The presentation will last 10 minutes and will be followed by 5 minutes of questions. Be clear, concise, precise and convincing!
The final rankings will be determined after the presentations.
Selection criteria
Projects will be assessed using the following criteria:
- Originality and innovative nature of the project
- Relevance of the proposal
- Impact on the market
- Feasibility of implementing the project
- Presentation quality and complementary nature of the team
Give the jury everything you've got!
