Hack.Asia 2022: Innovate the Sustainable Future | GRAND FINAL
After an intense hackathon that lasted over seven weeks and saw over 180 ideas, the Grand Final of the Hack.Asia 2022 took place on January 20, 2022.
The top teams or startups of every challenge statement gave it their all during their 10min pitch, which was followed by a 5min Q&A from the judges.
During the Hack.Asia week (January 15-20, 2022), participants and the general public enjoyed 9 hours of insightful speaker series and workshops on important topics such as sustainability, technology, entrepreneurship, design thinking, among others. Additionally, finalists Students & Innovators and Startups received mentoring from industry experts to refine their ideas.
The Grand Final winner from the Startup Track, Make My Day, won US$6,500 cash prize and the winner of the Student & Innovator Track, Sustaina, won US$2,500 cash prize. The other challenge winners from the Startup Track obtained a proof of concept opportunity of up to US$50,000 while the challenge winners from the Student & Innovator Track received US$2,500 cash prize.

WHAT HAPPENED IN HACK.ASIA 2022?
Hack.Asia 2022 took place virtually from 15 - 20 January 2022. Over the activity-filled week, participants across the globe worked on sustainability-related challenge statements identified by Jardine group companies, attended speaker series from industry experts to enhance learnings, and received mentorship from Jardine leaders to refine their ideas.
Hundreds of disruptive and innovative ideas were generated, and eventually, ten challenge-winning teams were selected to present their final pitch to a panel of esteemed judges to compete for the Grand prize. We are pleased to present the Challenge and Grand winners for Hack.Asia 2022 here.
