In 2016, Immochan celebrated its 40th birthday: 40 years of a human and entrepreneurial vision of retail. The property management business founded in 1976 with the aim of supporting Auchan, is now established in 12 countries and manages more than 380 retail and lifestyle centers, representing more than 4 million sqm and nearly 7.5 billion euros worth of assets.
In 2016, Immochan went through a global vision process to redefine its strategy for 2030. Although up to now its global expertise has been developed in the field of commercial property management, Immochan is drawing from its values based on services and performance to become a global urban player in multi-purpose property development as illustrated by project like Europa city in France (more than 3-billion-euro multi-purpose project) and ambitious mixed-use projects in different countries especially China.
In addition to this, Immochan is emphasizing and reinforcing its double unique DNA Retail/Real Estate by diversifying its revenue stream and products as well as expanding its value chain to become a pioneer in this changing industry always keeping in mind its purpose: link people and brighten up everyday life.
