For the past 158 years, The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce has grown together with Hong Kong and the business community. Our mission is to promote, represent and safeguard the interests of the business community in Hong Kong, and at the same time provide support, networks, training and business services to help the business community grow. Our four key functions are:

We have representatives on over 40 Government and non-Government Advisory Boards, as well as the Executive Council and Legislative Councillors, plus three of our members serve on the CPPCC Standing Committee.
We manage 23 industry and functional committees, as well as special interest groups, to debate issues affecting businesses and develop solutions.
We expand members' local and international networks with businesses, governments and institutions around the world.
We expand members’ political network with local & foreign government officials, consuls general, government advisors, and enrich members’ business network by mingling with the cream of Hong Kong’s business community, local, Mainland China and international businesses operating here.
We broaden members’ international network by meeting with over 100 overseas and Mainland delegations, as well as participating in our overseas missions to cities in the Mainland and around the world.
We organize over 500 events for members every year. Many are exclusive and unique, but all useful in helping members grow their businesses.
Members could choose from over 500 events that we hold every year to broaden their business knowledge, connections and interests, and pick the brains of our policy experts to stay on top of the latest developments.
Members could visit key government and private facilities in our exclusive behind-the-scenes site visits to see how other companies work and how their best practices can be used in their business.
Members could achieve a better work-life balance by attending one of our many cultural, sports, recreation, health, and lifestyle events.
From business documentation services, to staff training, to event management and venue rental, we provide a wide range of services tailored to members' needs.
Members could enjoy huge discounts on business services - Certificates of Origin (CO), Certification of Documents, ATA Carnet, Private Car Self-drive Scheme, and  Trade Declaration Service.
We also offer advertising opportunities in our magazine and website, venue rental to, speaking and training opportunities, as well as designing events for members' specific needs.
