Former Foreign Minister of Singapore
BIOGRAPHY
George Yeo is currently a Visiting Scholar at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy of the National University of Singapore, and the Founding Patron of its Asia Competitiveness Institute.
Mr Yeo was with Kerry Group in Hong Kong from 2012 to 2021. He was Chairman and Executive Director of Kerry Logistics Network from 2012 to 2019.
From September 1988 to May 2011, he served 23 years in the Singapore Government, and was Minister for Information and the Arts, Minister for Health, Minister for Trade & Industry and Minister for Foreign Affairs.
Mr Yeo has a BA in Engineering (Double First) from Cambridge University and an MBA (Baker Scholar) from Harvard University.
He began his military career as a Signals Officer in the Singapore Army, crossed over to the Air Force, became Chief-of-Staff of the Air Staff, and Director of Joint Operations and Planning in the Defence Ministry attaining the rank of Brigadier-General.
Mr Yeo was a Member of the Pontifical Commission for Reference on the Economic- Administrative Structure of the Holy See in 2013-2014 and the Vatican Council for the Economy from February 2014 to July 2020.
Mr Yeo is a member of the Board of Trustees of Berggruen Institute on Governance, International Advisory Panel of Peking University, Senior Advisory Council of Beijing Forum, International Advisory Board of IESE Business School, International Advisory Council of China's Eco Forum Global Guiyang, International Advisory Board of Japan's National Graduate School for International Policy Studies (GRIPS), International Advisory Committee of Mitsubishi Corporation, Global Advisory Board of MUFG, the External Advisory Board of the European University Institute’s School of Transnational Governance and the Board of Governors of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation. Mr Yeo is an Independent Non-Executive Director of AIA Group listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Pinduoduo listed on NASDAQ and Creative Technology listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange. He is an advisor to Brunswick for its Geopolitical Initiative, Singapore’s V3 Group, Huawei International Pte Ltd in Singapore, Winning International Group and a small start-up called Plantonic.
Mr Yeo was the Conference Chairman of the Singapore Summit from 2012 to 2016.

PROF KHOO TENG CHYE

BIOGRAPHY
Mr Khoo Teng Chye is Practice Professor with the College of Design and Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He was formerly the Executive Director for the Centre for Liveable Cities, Ministry of National Development (MND)(2010 to 2020), Singapore and continues to be a Fellow at CLC.
He was the Chief Executive Officer/Chief Planner at the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA)(1992 to 1996), Chief Executive Officer/Group President of PSA Corporation(1996 to 2002), President and Chief Executive Officer of Mapletree Investments and Managing Director (Special Projects) of Temasek Holdings(2002 to 2003) and Chief Executive of PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency(2003 to 2011).
He sits on the Boards of the Tropical Marine Science Institute (NUS), Institute of Real Estate and Urban Studies (NUS), the National University Health System Pte Ltd (NUHS), and is Chairman of the NUSDeltares Governing Board. He is a member of the NTU Graduate Advisory Committee and of the Monash University Commission on Intermediate Cities. He serves as a member of the Development Projects Advisory Panel (DPAP) set up by Ministry of Finance (MOF), Singapore. He is an advisor to the Land Transport Authority and the East Coast Town Council. He is an advisor to the Pictet Bank (Switzerland) Smart City Advisory Fund, and Global Board member of the Urban Land Institute, Global Governing Trustee and Chairman of the Asia Pacific Executive Committee. He ia a Senior Fellow of the URA Academy, a Fellow of the Singapore Academy of Engineers, and the Institution of Engineers, Singapore.
Mr Khoo graduated with First Class Honours in Civil Engineering from Monash University, Australia. A President-cum-Colombo Plan Scholar, he also holds a Master of Science in Construction Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. He attended the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School.
He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal in 2018, the Public Administration (Gold) in 1996 and the Public Administration (Silver) in 1987 by the Singapore government. He was also conferred the Meritorious Service Award by the National Trade Union Congress in 2008.

ROBERT YAP MIN CHOY

BIOGRAPHY
Robert is a Singaporean business leader involved in Renewable Energy, Information Technology and Private Equity. He is presently the Chairman, Advisory Board and Non-Executive Director of the Management Board for EDPR Sunseap Asia Pacific, a subsidiary of EDP Renewables S.A. which is listed on Euronext. Concurrently, Robert is Chairman of Skylab Holding and Independent Director with NTUC FairPrice Group, Jurong Port, IMDA Singapore and Alexandra Health Fund Limited.
In February 2022, Robert was appointed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as Council member in the Corporate Governance Advisory Committee. He is also a member of the Council for Board Diversity under the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and senior advisor to Jubilee Partners.
In January 2020, Robert was conferred Singapore Management University (SMU) Distinguished Fellow and the inaugural Dean’s Fellow of Information Systems for his contribution as eminent leader of industry.
Robert held a distinguished global career before retiring in December of 2014. He joined DFS Group senior global leadership in 2004 and was Group EVP for Global Business Services and a senior member of Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) global CIO council. During this period, he was jointly the President of DFS Venture Singapore.
Prior to joining DFS, Robert was CEO for East Asia at PSA INTERNATIONAL. Between 2006 till 2014, Robert was a member of IBM CORPORATION Global Advisory Board in New York, US. His past board directorships of SGX listed companies included supply chain and technology companies. During the period from 2014 till 2018, Robert represented Singapore as council member for the ASEAN Business Advisory Council and served as Deputy Secretary for Singapore National Employers Federation.
Robert was conferred a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with honours and Masters of Engineering Science from UNSW in Sydney.

Edward Tay is the CEO for Sistema Asia Capital, a Monetary Authority of Singapore registered fund management company. He had invested and nurtured deep tech unicorns such as Rebel Food, the world's largest cloud kitchen food tech valued at $1.4 billion; Licious, a direct-to-consumer brand, valued at $1.1 billion; Infra. Market, a built environment e-commerce platform, valued at $2.5 billion and Uniphore, a global AI leader in conversational service automation valued at $2.5 billion.
Edward co-founded Asia Sustainability Forum, a regional platform for stakeholders to build connections, share thought leadership on sustainability efforts, and organized community events with corporate partners such as Enterprise Singapore, National Library Board, Singapore Management University & Singapore Deep Technology Alliance. He led in a national steering committee, Sustainable Tropical Data Centre Testbed, driving for innovation and energy efficiency in data centres.

A seasoned media professional turned impact & social entrepreneur in 2012. Christina is deeply passionate about sustainability, education and business. She has been running her sustainability advisory and training business, Global Green Connect, and purpose-driven social enterprise, GGEF, in Asia for the past 9 years.
Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Christina was the Asia Managing Director at Bloomberg media and served as Vice-Chair of SOPA (Society of Publisher Asia).
Christina was named one of the Asia’s Top 30 ‘Eco Warriors 2019’ by Green is the New Black and ‘TBLI HERO’ by TBLI Group in 2020. She was awarded the ‘Achiever Award, Leader in Responsible Corporation Driving Impact’ at the Asia Futurist Leadership Summit 2020.
Christina holds a master’s degree in management from Macquarie University (MGSM), Sydney. An avid sports enthusiast, she was honoured to be a torch bearer for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Ms. Catherine Du is currently the director of Huawei's TECH4ALL Digital Inclusion Program Office. She is responsible for Huawei's global digital inclusion projects, including cooperation with UN organizations, NGOs, and research institutes for projects’ operation and communication.
Prior to that, she served as the director of the Marketing Dept. of Cloud BU and the Marketing Dept. of Huawei Enterprise BG. She was responsible for market insight, marketing planning, brand promotion, and digital marketing of HUAWEI CLOUD and Huawei Enterprise BG's global businesses.
Ms. Catherine Du has rich experience in the information and communications field and has extensive experience in marketing and solution sales. She has worked in multiple countries and has professional knowledge of next-generation networks, cloud computing, core network, and IT, as well as an understanding of industry informatization construction in the enterprise business domain.

Pei is a Senior Lecturer at NTU Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and oversees the Master of Media and Communication Programme as the Deputy Director. Prior to joining NTU, she spent over 15 years as a multi-disciplinary marketeer in which 9 were in senior regional roles for global technology and telecommunication industries for brands such as Cisco, O2 Mobile, British Telecoms and Yahoo!
During these 25 years in the industry and academia, she has witnessed dramatic possibilities with technology and seen the "rise & rise" of digital media. But one thing is constant throughout. Regardless of technology, mediums, or disciplines, she believes that solving problems with a purposeful strategy, empathy and creativity is at the heart of our work and works with her students towards these aims. In her industry collaborations, she also works with partners and students to use communication for change. She has supervised many student teams for international competitions and final-year campaign projects. In some of these competitions, her students have won top awards and are featured on news media. Outside of teaching, Pei has served as a NTU-USP Youth Dialogue facilitator and judge since 2019, working with young scholars from Asia. She is also appointed as a judge for The Crowbar Awards ‘For Good’ category this year. Pei is a two-time awardee for the Koh Boon Hwee award, as the honoured NTU faculty, for her teaching and mentorship. She looks forward to meeting and mentoring student teams participating in Tech4City competition.

Dr Bina Rai is a microbiologist, bio-engineer and a community-engaged educator. Dr Rai was awarded the Tertiary Educator of the Year at Edutech (Asia) Awards in 2017 and won the Innovplus Award 2021, a competitive learning innovation grant challenge awarded by IAL and SUSS. Ivan is the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Huawei Singapore. He is responsible for developing, communicating and executing Huawei International Pte Ltd sustaining corporate strategic initiatives in Singapore. Prior to his appointment as the CSO of Huawei Singapore, he held several leadership roles across multiple MNC across the regions.
Prior to joining Huawei, Ivan spent the recent few years of his career leading the Business Transformation in Channel Ecosystem in IBM Asia Pacific, building a diversified partner ecosystem for Cloud transformation, and helping business partners digitally transform their traditional business model to cater for new industry workload solution, building skills around AI/Cognitive, Analytic, Cloud, Security, as well as Server and Storage for Multi-cloud architecture etc. Before that, Ivan was the Managing Director for Lenovo Singapore, where he successfully built a new business model after the acquisition of IBM x86 business.
He has more than 20 years of experience leading transformation programs across many countries in IBM, Lenovo and Huawei, for which he won multiple individual leadership awards in recognition of his excellent achievements.

Charles Cheng is the managing director of Huawei International Pte Ltd who is responsible for overseeing public affairs and communication of the company in Singapore.
Charles Cheng has more than 13 years of working experience with extensive background of multiple roles in ICT industry, which include technical support, project management and sales.
He started his career in Huawei Technologies in 2008 as fresh graduates. He was assigned to Huawei Malaysia in 2009 as Packet Core Engineer and later went through a series of roles including Account Director Huawei Malaysia, CEO of Huawei Brunei. Prior to current role, he was the VP of Public Affair in Huawei Malaysia.
He graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology with Information Engineering degree in 2008, and completed a series of professional certification in Huawei.
