Marseille Provence, 2nd regional airport in France
Ideally located between Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, the airport gathers on its grounds all the treasures of Provence, one of the most popular destinations in France.
Between its southern side - on the sea side - open to a Mediterranean lagoon, and its northern side - on the land side - overlooking the verdant ochre hills that are typical of our region, the journey to the heart of Provence begins as soon as you set foot in the airport.
In 2022, Marseille Provence airport welcomed more than 9 million passengers from and to over 100 destinations with direct flights to Europe, the Mediterranean region, Africa and beyond (Indian Ocean, Canada).

At Marseille Provence Airport, we are convinced that talent and creativity are the main drivers of our progress. This is why we are calling on students and start-ups from all over the world to take part in the "Design our future Passenger Experience" challenge.
The prize? An invitation to a 'Discovery Day' to meet the Terminal 1 project team and get a feel for the place, the possibility of seeing your project developed in collaboration with the support of Marseille Provence Airport and visited by millions of passengers every year, as well as other travel/tech prizes and professional opportunities!

"make the heart of its customers beat" in the upcoming Terminal 1.
However, if your project does not fit into any of these themes
do not hesitate to opt for the 'out of the box' !
Don't forget that you can also participate multiple times
by submitting different projects.

Ideation phase
23/01/2023 - 24/03/2023
Registration open to students (team of 1 to 5 members) and to startups (individual participation). A 5 slide maximum PPT presentation describing the main lines of the project must be submitted.

Deepening phase
10/04/2023 - 26/05/2023
Up to 20 teams selected. Invitation to a 'Discovery Day'. Submission of a PPT of 20 slides or less and an introducing video of 3 minutes max.

Final
June 23, 2023
Up to 10 finalist teams selected. Face-to-face pitch in front of the top management of the Marseille Provence Airport.

An emblematic place of innovation characterized by its futuristic organic architecture and located in a verdant setting between Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, the camp's mission is to gather, understand and invent tomorrow regarding the environmental, technological and managerial challenges.
