Are you a technology enthusiast, talented developer or aspiring entrepreneur? We are thrilled to announce the launch of the very first HUAWEI Developer Competition Europe 2022. The competition, themed "Spark Infinity" this year, encourages developers to integrate leading technologies into creative projects and applications, and to create industry-transforming innovations using HUAWEI CLOUD.
Developers tip the scales in technology innovation and application implementation, while cloud paves the way for them to develop and monetize applications. As a flagship event in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) field, HUAWEI Developer Competition Europe 2022 aims to promote a solid, open, and robust cloud ecosystem. Huawei opens its technologies, capabilities, and tools via Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for developers to easily build, run, and ship applications on the cloud. Participants can use these APIs as their app builders in this challenge.

Categories to compete in
You will need to demonstrate use of these key technologies in your proposal (Note: This challenge covers 12+ key technologies in EI, PaaS, IaaS, and database domains, among others). To be eligible, you/your team will need to use at least one key technology to innovate applications or solve real problems, on the basis that you are going to use HUAWEI CLOUD to build an application or website. Choose one of the categories below to address, otherwise, select "Others" in the application form.

Prizes & Incentives

*Cash rewards refer to pre-tax amounts. Participants will be responsible for compliance with tax laws and regulations that apply to them, such as personal income tax in their own country. Huawei will not be responsible for withholding any personal income taxes.

The HUAWEI Developer Competition Europe 2022 Demo Day will be an in-person event on 2 March 2023, where the 9 finalist teams will pitch live in front of a Huawei jury panel. All finalist teams can win prizes up to EUR 15,000 (in cash) per team!
