Zero Plastic Hackathon

We have all seen the distressing pictures of beaches that are covered with piles of plastic or animals that die horribly at the cause of human-induced waste.

 

We feel easily overwhelmed and discouraged in our daily being surrounded by disposable plastic products without an alternative. Plastic pollution is an issue all over the world caused by, among other things, the overuse of plastic packaging, too little recycling and our fast-paced throwaway mentality.

 

Your mission is to develop an idea that tackles this problem. Projects can be based in one of the three giving themes or any other topic aiming at a defeat of plastic waste!
